Heya guys, this application is for 2 people, Bonie and Yinng, we both have the exact same raiding experience, playtime, etc, and we're married.
1.What is the name of your main as well as level and class?
Yinng - LVL 80 Priest
Bonie - LVL 80 Druid
2. What is your age?
Yinng - 23
Bonie - 25
3. What guilds have you been with in the past, and why did you leave them, please provide as much detail as necessary.
Révolted - We created the guild in 2005.
Resolute - We joined Resolute in TBC after many people had left Révolted because we had stopped playing for a while. We left Resolute because we stopped playing for a year and a half. We started playing again about 2 months ago.
4. Do you have any friends currently in EPIC?
Friends, acquaintances, and people we've had a good time with ;
Ravenclaw, Elbereth, Kogu, Kaizer, Lucan, Ronfar.. to name a few.
5. Are you willing to install Ventrilo, as all our raid instructions are given vocally (No Mic required at this time) as well as several UI Mods required for raiding?
Installed.
6. Are you interested in raiding 25 man content and if yes, can you make our raid times? Tue-Thu 7-11:30 pm ST?
Yes, might be some exceptions but will warn beforehand.
7. Can you give us a brief summary of what your armor & weapons are like or provide a link to your armory page?
Yinng
This is probably Yinng's holy gear, which is my current spec. 2300SP+ self buffed. Shadow gear is 2100 SP+, hit capped. I don't mind raiding as either.
Bonie
This is probably Bonie's feral tanking gear. Bonie's healing gear is Full T7/T7.5 mix. She does not want to moonkin.
8. Can you describe what raiding experience you have?
Cleared everything except for Black Temple, Mount Hyjal, and I left before Sunwell came out. Everything in WotlK, but haven't downed Sarth with drakes up.
9. What role do you wish to perform while raiding? (Healer, Tank, DPS)
Yinng - Will be specing Holy PVE / Shadow PVE in 3.1 - I don't mind DPSing or Healing.
Bonie - Will be specing Feral Tanking / Restoration in 3.1 - Bonie has fun tanking in PvE while other specs get boring really fast for her
10. What do you enjoy most about playing the game?
Player interactions, non-wow conversations. We did a 10 men Naxx with Ravenclaw this past Saturday and the members of the raid were mostly from EH. We really loved the attitude of people on vent, and we had very decent conversations on topics not related to WoW, which is always good. We like to raid mostly, to see new content, but what's really important to us is the raid attitude in which we are, we're used to wiping since 2005, and don't care much, but dislike negative attitudes, condescending and arrogant people.
We also love building PvP teams. What we like the most about this is building a team where people learn how to use their character creatively, and develop an intricate interaction with other players while in a situation where they must be able to adapt to a multitude of strategies swiftly.
11. What made you want to apply to EPIC?
The feel we got from Ravenclaw’s raid is what brought us here, hopefully it is a general guild attitude.
12. Are there any situations in the past that may affect your reputation that you would like to explain?
No.
13. Finally, tell us a little about yourself.
Bonie and I live together near Montreal, Quebec ( CANADA ). She's a 3D animator for a video game company and I'm a welder. I did this application for both of us because, as stated in the beginning of the post, we come together... that goes for raid invites and such, unfortunately or fortunately.
We like doing things well, and we pay attention to details, a WoW example would be to show up to raid with flasks, feasts, scolls, etc.

First Name:
Yinng - Mathieu
Bonie - Jennifer
Preferred Raid Spec:
Yinng - Holy or Shadow
Bonie - Feral Tank
Preferred PvP Spec:
Yinng – Discipline
Bonie - Restoration
LK Raid Boss Kills:
Everything but Sarth with drakes.
What kind of lead experience have you had?
Bonie and I led Molten Core, Black Wing Lair, Onyxia, Zul Gurub, AQ20, and Karazhan... back in the days. We were GMs so we know of the issues that come with managing different people with different backgrounds, work schedules, people not showing up for raid, people crying in gchat because they didn't get the loot they wanted or the invite they expected... haha!
We love leading PvP teams; in BC our thrill was to beat epically geared teams, with merely epic skills and creativity
Would you like to be a permanent or fill in for 25 man raids? (Permanent positions require 90% raid attendance) (We're working on getting designated bench players EP for being available)
Permanent.
Do you have vent and a mic?
Yes, Mic isn't plugged in at the moment though.
What are your goals as a raider? (why do you raid? The more, the better. :])
Mainly to have fun. When we're playing on the computer, it's to relax, and just enjoy playing. We like to socialise on vent, to get to know the people we’re raiding with, how the day went, how kids are doing… what did the dog destroyed when you came home… what pisses you off in politics, what do they believe in. Conversations like that. What we value the most in WoW, is the opportunity to play with a bunch of different people coming from different cultural backgrounds, and thus having conversations that you wouldn’t have when you are only limited to the people in your immediate environment.
We dislike individualism in raids.
So yup! That pretty much sums it up...
